The 86 is Forge’s park and carving weapon. At 86 mm underfoot, it makes getting on edge easy, and with a progressive shape that rises to 119 mm in the tip and tail, this ski is ready to pretzel as soon as you scissor. Its shape grips hard on rails and makes spins feel far easier. With a perfectly symmetrical profile, it skis switch just as well as it skis forward.
 
The 86 features an industry-leading Isosport 8210 Pi28 brushed-texture topsheet, a thick 1.7 mm Crown Durasurf sintered base, and durable 2.5 mm steel edges. It is built with a strong poplar and beech wood core, a full-length ABS sidewall for sandwich construction, VDS rubber along the steel edge and sidewall, square VDS rubber plating in the tips and tails, and triaxial fiberglass with woven carbon fiber strips for added strength and stability.
